Blue Seal™ has been specifically formulated to provide positive waterproofing for residential and commercial flooring applications such as bathrooms, kitchens and basements, where floor surfaces may come into contact with moisture and water. Blue Seal™ can be used on concrete, cement backer board, wood, exterior grade plywood, parking decks and many other common substrates. Blue Seal™ is not intended for use as a final exposed or wearing surface.

The application of Stone Mason^® E.Z. Flow Self-Levelling Cement, flooring cements, or other sub-flooring is required to achieve a level surface prior to the application of final floor toppings such as ceramic tile, stone, vinyl or rubber tile, strip wood and parquet. Blue Seal™ is ideal for use as a shower pan liner.

Q: How long does it take to dry?
A: It is recommended that Blue Seal™ Flooring Membrane be allowed to air dry to an ocean blue colour film before application of floor toppings – approximately 24 hours.

Q: How do I know when I have sufficient?
A: VCC (Visual Coverage Control) – A unique formulation makes it simple to determine when a surface has received proper coverage. When applied to the proper wet film thickness, Blue Seal™ Flooring Membrane dries to an ocean blue colour. Insufficient coverage will show up as a translucent lighter blue, indicating clearly where additional material is required.
