This aerosol, moisture-cure urethane adhesive delivers superior performance in subfloor and general construction applications. NailTite™ Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive is designed for application with NailTite™ dispensing gun applicators – a much easier method than application with conventional hand pump systems.

Surface Preparation and Application

Surfaces should be free of dust, oil, grease, frost and loose debris which may impair bond. Dampness will not impair bond. For maximum yield the temperature of the Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive container should be 20°C (70°F). Minimum application temperature is 5°C (40°F). Colder temperatures lengthen curing time but will not affect the Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive properties when fully cured. When applying Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive follow the instructions on the container.

Limitations

Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive is not recommended for use in the following circumstances:

• Exterior areas continuously exposed to ultra-violet rays, unless suitably protected.
• Long-term immersion in water
• Long-term exposure to temperatures above 93°C (200°F)
• Do not use Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive anywhere polyethylene sheeting is installed between the substrates being adhered.

Cautions

Contents under pressure. Do not place in hot water or near radiators, stoves or other sources of heat. Do not puncture or incinerate container or store at temperatures over 49°C (120°F). Keep out of reach of children. Do not leave container in a closed area such as a motor vehicle, especially in the summer heat.

First Aid

Non-toxic under normal conditions. Treat as a mild irritant to skin. Flush eyes with water and see a physician. Product contains polymeric diisocyanate.

Shelf-Life and Storage

Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive is an aerosol material and must be kept below 49°C (120°F). Note to purchaser: Subfloor and Construction Foam Adhesive is guaranteed to conform to product specifications, if used by the expiry date imprinted on each aerosol container (18 months after manufacture).

The consumer shall satisfy themselves of the suitability of this product for the intended purpose. Weather, applicators skill and surface conditions are beyond manufacturers control. We, therefore, limit our liability to replacement of defective material only, within one year of proof of purchase.
