Directions

Dig post hole deeper than frost line, and use Instant Post Cement only when temperature is above 5°C (40°F). Determine hole diameter and depth. Consult project chart to determine how many bags of cement are needed.

Application Steps

  1. Empty 3/4 of required amount of water into post hole.
  2. Pour the remaining amount of cement into the post hole in a circular motion around the post to achieve consistent blending. Then tamp mixture.
  3. Using a level, adjust the post to desired alignment and tamp to set post. Instant Post Cement will set in approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Use 1 gallon (3.78 litres) clean water per 40 lb. (18kg) bag. Yield .398 cubic feet.

Maintenance

Work should be inspected periodically. If any problems are found, they should be corrected as they develop. This will result in an economically priced and long lasting installation.
