Surface Preparation

Surface must be structurally sound, clean and free of dirt, paint, oil, dust or any material that will prevent good bonding.

Mixing

Mix approximately 1 ½ gallons (5 ½ litres) of clean water per 50 lb. (22.7 kg) bag. Do not mix more material than can be applied in one hour. Power mixing is recommended. Approximate mixing time is 2-3 minutes. Mix to lump-free consistency, suitable for troweling. For increased strength add Stone Mason® Acrylic Bond as part of the mixing liquid.

Temperature

Do not apply when temperature is expected to fall below 40°F (5°C) within 24 hours.

Application

Dampen concrete surface and trowel cement using an upward stroke to achieve a minimum thickness of 1/8" (3.2 mm).

Curing

Finished surface should be misted with water once or twice a day under normal conditions, more frequently if weather is hot and dry. Protect from rain by covering with plastic for the first 8 hours after application.

The consumer shall satisfy themselves of the suitability of this product for the intended purpose. Weather, applicator's skill and surface conditions are beyond manufacturer's control. We, therefore, limit our liability to replacement of defective material only, within one year of proof of purchase.
